The second project called "Mapping Lithuanian Photography: Histories and Archives" (working title "photo/carto/historio/graphies") is going on. It comprises of two exhibitions, a weblog and a book which acts both as a catalogue of the exhibitions and as a wider context (reader) for the project. The community of curators, artists, architects and designers are developing maps and objects for the exhibition which is going to be launched in December 2007. More information in English is coming soon.
3xposition.lt is a weblog for public curatorship. It is interested in the intersection of internet and physical (gallery, public, etc.) space and their effects on each other. The short documentation of a weblog in English can be read http://www.3xpozicija.lt/en. However it is only a summary of Lithuanian content but not an active weblog.
3xposition is a community which develops art and communication projects.
The title “3xposition” could be communicated like “3x position (multiple position), “ex position” (former position, it means every time changing and progressive) or “exposition”, where exposition could mean:
- a show, an exhibition, a screening, an event;
- a public exposition of curatorial process;
- or even projects about media, which are similar because of exposition (photography, video, etc.)

The first event of 3xposition was the exhibition "comments@3xpozicija.lt: post-photographical condition in contemporary art" from 18th of October till 11th of November (2006) at "Prospektas" gallery , Gediminas av. 43, Vilnius, Lithuania.
You can download the catalogue of exhibition (PDF) and the magazine "Post-photography" (PDF). The size of printed catalogue is 84×60 cm and it resembles a newspaper or a map. It is both in English and Lithuanian. You can find more information about the public curatorship with a weblog in this catalogue as well.
There are several documentations in a form of videos and photographs from the exhibition and from the opening event.

The first project is dealing with public curatorship and post-photography. This weblog is launched for the purpose of curating of media art exhibition on post-photography. So, this weblog is functioning like a public curator which lets to present and discuss the ideas of artworks.
Post-photography
It is not an exhibition of photography. It is an exhibition about photography. Photography is art, technology, communication mean, medium, a way of reproducing (reproduction), representation (of reality).
Project was going in four phases:
- Catalogue /magazine (English/Lithuanian)
- Weblog – internet site
- Exhibition in “Prospektas” gallery (18th of October 2006, Vilnius, Lithuania)
- Public space activities
The project “Postphotography” is interested in photography culture, subculture, paraculture and metaculture. Postphotography is something that is in-between photography and other art practices. Postphotography is intermediality and interdisciplinarity in contemporary visual art practices.
Two main directions/streams:
a) rethinking/re-approaching photography as a medium, through its changing form and context (other media: video, computer, new media, etc);
b) rethinking photography through its content (meta-photography, photography about photography)
